IPO allotment or "institutional account" group

A group promises guaranteed IPO allotments or discounted block deals through a special account that only exists on a fake app.

Community reports: 0

How it works

  1. You are added to a WhatsApp group of "stock market experts" that shares free tips, profit screenshots and talk of IPOs and block deals.
  2. They offer guaranteed IPO allotments or discounted shares through an "institutional account", and ask you to install their trading app.
  3. The app shows big profits on money you send to bank accounts they give, but when you try to withdraw, they ask for fees or tax and nothing comes back.

  • A "professor" or "mentor" running the group

The one question to ask

In a real IPO your money stays blocked in your own bank account, so why must you send it to theirs?
