Instant loan app followed by harassment and morphed photos

An app gives a small loan in minutes, then demands far more than agreed and threatens to send morphed photos to your contacts.

Community reports: 0

How it works

  1. An app outside the official stores, or a lookalike inside them, offers an instant loan with no paperwork.
  2. During installation it asks for access to your contacts, photos and messages, and disburses less than the loan amount.
  3. Within days the agents demand a much larger repayment, call your contacts and threaten to circulate morphed or obscene photos.
