What usually happens in a sextortion call. A man gets a friendly message from an unknown woman on Instagram or WhatsApp. After a short chat she video calls him late at night, and an explicit clip plays on her side of the screen. The call is recorded with his face in the frame.

Within minutes he receives the recording and a demand: pay ₹30,000 or it goes to his family and friends. Soon there is a second call from a "Delhi Police officer" or a "YouTube official" saying a case is being filed and more money is needed to delete the video.

Do not pay; paying only leads to more demands. Do not delete the chat. Block the account, tighten your privacy settings, and report it at cybercrime.gov.in or on 1930. You are the victim here, not the offender.
