Mobile tower installation on your roof for rent
A company offers high monthly rent and an advance for installing a mobile tower, but first needs fees for permissions.

How it works
- A caller, SMS or ad, pretending to be from a telecom company or tower agency, offers high monthly rent and a large advance to put a mobile tower on your roof or land.
- To go ahead, you must pay a registration fee, then charges for a "no objection certificate", site survey, stamp duty or government approval, each with official-looking letters.
- The fees keep growing, the tower and the rent never come, and the "company" stops answering.

- Rent and advance far above normal
- "Ministry" letters sent on WhatsApp
- Payments to personal or unrelated accounts
- Selected though you never applied
The one question to ask
Why would a company that wants to rent your roof ask you to pay them first?
