Fake shopping website with deep discounts
An ad leads to a store with branded products at huge discounts; you pay and receive nothing, a fake, or your card is misused.

How it works
- An ad on social media shows branded goods at 70% to 90% off, often during a festival sale.
- The website looks real but is new, accepts only prepaid orders, and has no working contact details.
- The order never arrives, a cheap substitute arrives, or your card is charged again later.
What it looks like
Example messages. Numbers and links are masked.
Diwali Mega Sale! iPhone at Rs 9,999. Only 50 left. Prepaid orders only.
Order confirmed. Delivery in 15 to 20 working days. No cash on delivery.
Red flags
- Prices far below every other store
- Prepaid only, no cash on delivery
- A website created recently
- No address or working phone number
The one question to ask
Is anyone else in India selling this at anywhere near that price?
