Exam paper leak or marks-increase offer
Someone sells a "leaked" paper or promises higher marks for a payment, and nothing real is delivered.
Community reports: 0
How it works
- Telegram channels, Instagram pages or WhatsApp groups claim to have the leaked paper for a board, university or entrance exam, or contacts who can raise your marks.
- They show "proof" such as old papers, edited screenshots or fake results, and ask for payment by UPI first.
- The paper is fake or never comes, more money is demanded, and some threaten to report you if you complain.
What it looks like
Example messages. Numbers and links are masked.
100% real paper for tomorrow's exam, sent 2 hours before. Only Rs 1,500. See last year's proof in our channel.
I have contact in the board office. Pay Rs 20,000 and your marks will increase by 30 in the recheck.
Red flags
- "Leaked" papers sold on social media
- Promise to change marks for money
- "Proof" from old papers or screenshots
- Payment first, paper later
The one question to ask
If someone could really leak the paper or change marks, why would they sell it to strangers online?
Already paid or shared details?
Stop paying, even if they threaten to report you, and save the chats and payment details. Call 1930 and file a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in, and talk to a parent or teacher you trust.
